Mission Statement
North County Lacrosse is dedicated to organizing, developing, and promoting the sport of lacrosse within northern Whatcom County.

The North County Lacrosse Club was founded in the fall of 2005 and is based out of Lynden, WA. We also accept student athletes from the following school districts: Lynden, Lynden Christian, Nooksack Valley, Mount Baker, Blaine, and Meridan. The interest for lacrosse in Lynden became apparent after the team from Bellingham went to the State Championship in 2005. With only three players having lacrosse experience, North County started practice in January of 2006 as a first year High School varsity program. In 2011, the Cavaliers varisty team made a playoff run into the state quarterfinals were they lost to the eventual champions.

The club now consists of a boys high school varsity team, a boys high school junior varsity team, a boys 7th/8th grade team, and a boys 4th-6th grade team. We are currently looking to expand to boys 1st-3rd and girls 1st-5th for the 2012 spring season.

The club provides each player with a team uniform. Players are expected to provide their own sticks, arm pads, shoulder pads, helmets, sport cleats, mouthpiece, and athletic cup. The club does have sets of boy's and girl's equipment that are available for players to rent on a first-come basis. Each player is also required to pay team dues and participate in fundraising activities. North County Lacrosse does not want financial contraints to prevent anyone from playing, so a scholarship fund has been set-up for those players in need.
